Celebrating Chai • 18 • Life
Life may be measured in moments, but this year it's a milestone. Eighteen years ago, the Jewish Chidlren's Museum launched its mission to promote tolerance and cultural acceptance. It channeled the tragedy of 16-year-old Ari Halberstam's murder into an enduring objective of adding peace and light into the world. Through its programs, exhibits and events, the JCM helps people from diverse backgrounds understand and appreciate Jewish culture, fostering values of acceptance, respect and broad-mindedness.
For eighteen years, children have loved exploring what the Jewish Children's Museum has to offer. Through interactive play, innovative crafts and unique encounters at special exhibitions, children learn important values about life, heritage, and their own exceptional self-worth.
Eighteen is a significant number in Judaism. Numerically corresponding to the Hebrew word "Chai" (life), celebrating the past eighteen years of our instrumental work takes on special meaning. We are gratified at the opportunity to invite you to the Jewish Children's Museum 18th annual dinner, an event that will highlight the JCM's achievements, exciting plans for the future, and deep appreciation for supporters like you. We hope you can join us for this unforgettable evening of celebration and inspiration.
